Seven days from Marrakech that include every highlight of southern Morocco and some hidden gems too. Cross the Atlas to Aït Benhaddou, sleep in the Dades Valley, spend a full day in the Merzouga desert with a camel sunset trek, follow the legendary Paris-Dakar race route through the remote Ouzina village near the Algerian border, drive the scenic Draa Valley through Zagora and Agdz, and finish with Ouarzazate Studios and the Telouet Kasbah before returning to Marrakech.

Transfer from the airport to your riad/hotel. Explore Jemaa el-Fnaa Square in the evening.
2Day 2Marrakech → Aït Benhaddou → Rose Valley → Dades Valley

Early departure over the Tizi-N'Tichka pass. Visit Aït Benhaddou (UNESCO), continue through Rose Valley and Dades Gorges. Overnight.
3Day 3Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
Drive through Todra Valley, visit the 300 m canyon walls. Continue to Merzouga. Overnight in a hotel/riad near the dunes.
4Day 4Merzouga — Full Desert Day & Camel Trek
Merzouga — Full Desert Day & Camel Trek
Morning 4×4 tour: Khamlia Gnawa village, nomad families, and wild oasis. Afternoon camel trek to the desert camp for sunset, Berber music and dinner.
5Day 5Merzouga → Taouz → Dakar Road → Ouzina → Tafraoute Sidi Ali

Follow the Paris-Dakar rally route through the remote desert. Visit the ancient Berber settlement of Ouzina near the Algerian border and Ramlia Village. Overnight in a Berber hotel in Tafraoute Sidi Ali.
6Day 6Tafraoute → Zagora → Agdz → Tamnougalt → Ouarzazate
Tafraoute → Zagora → Agdz → Tamnougalt → Ouarzazate
Cross the Oumjrane desert towards Zagora. Stop at Agdz and the Tamnougalt Kasbah in the Draa Valley. Continue to Ouarzazate for the night.

Visit the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate. Drive via the scenic Ounila Valley to the historic Telouet Kasbah. Cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech.
