1Day 1Marrakech to Imlil
Marrakech to Imlil
Transfer from Marrakech to the mountain village of Imlil (1,740m). Afternoon acclimatization walk through walnut groves and terraced fields. Meet your mountain guides and mule team.
2Day 2Imlil to Toubkal Refuge
Imlil to Toubkal Refuge
Trek through the Mizane Valley, passing waterfalls and Berber settlements. Ascend to the Toubkal Refuge at 3,207m with stunning views of surrounding peaks. Evening briefing for summit day.
3Day 3Summit Day - Mount Toubkal
Summit Day - Mount Toubkal
Early morning departure for the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), the highest peak in North Africa. Enjoy 360-degree views stretching to the Sahara. Descend to a mountain gîte for overnight.
4Day 4Valley of Azzadene
Valley of Azzadene
Trek through the remote Azzadene Valley, one of the most beautiful in the Atlas. Visit isolated Berber villages and enjoy lunch prepared by a local family. Overnight in a traditional gîte.
5Day 5Return to Marrakech
Return to Marrakech
Final morning trek descending back to Imlil. Celebratory lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer back to Marrakech with a stop at a traditional Argan oil cooperative.
