
Tour Overview
A classic three-day desert tour from Marrakech to the golden dunes of Merzouga. The first day crosses the High Atlas to the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Benhaddou and on to the Dades Valley. Day two takes you through the towering Todra Gorge and across the desert plains to Erg Chebbi, where camels carry you over the dunes to a traditional Berber camp under the stars. On the final day, ride back at sunrise and return to Marrakech via the Draa Valley.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
1Day 1Marrakech → Aït Benhaddou → Dades Valley
Marrakech → Aït Benhaddou → Dades Valley
Pick-up at 8:00 AM. Cross the High Atlas and visit the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Continue through Ouarzazate, past the Skoura palm grove and Rose Valley to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel/riad.
2Day 2Dades → Todra Gorge → Erg Chebbi Desert Camp

After breakfast, drive through the stunning Todra Gorges (300 m canyon walls). Continue via Erfoud to Merzouga. Mount your camel and trek over the Erg Chebbi dunes to the Berber camp. Sunset from the dunes, dinner by the fire, and a night under a sky full of stars.
3Day 3Sunrise → Draa Valley → Marrakech
Sunrise → Draa Valley → Marrakech
Wake before dawn to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Camel ride back, then drive through the Draa Valley via Rissani, Nkob, Tamnougalt, and Ouarzazate for a final lunch before the road home over the Atlas to Marrakech.
