
Tour Overview
A six-day itinerary that connects Marrakech with Casablanca via the most spectacular scenery in Morocco. The route takes you over the High Atlas to Aït Benhaddou and Ouarzazate, through the Dades Valley and Todra Gorge, across the Erg Chebbi dunes by camel, around the Merzouga desert with nomad families, north through the Ziz Valley and Atlas forests to Fes, and finishing with a visit to Casablanca and the magnificent Hassan II Mosque.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
1Day 1Marrakech → Aït Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley

Depart at 8:00 AM over the Atlas. Visit the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Benhaddou and Ouarzazate Studios. Continue through the Rose Valley to Boumaln Dades. Overnight.
2Day 2Dades → Todra Gorge → Erg Chebbi Desert Camp

Drive through Tinghir and the Todra Gorge. Reach Merzouga by afternoon. Camel trek to the desert camp for sunset, dinner, and Berber music.
3Day 3Merzouga — Desert Day

Sunrise at the camp, then explore the desert: nomads, Khamlia Gnawa village, the wild lake, and the dunes. Lunch in Merzouga. Overnight in hotel.

Drive north via Erfoud, the panoramic Draa Valley, Midelt, Azrou cedar forest (Barbary macaques), and the clean Alpine town of Ifrane. Arrive in Fes.

Full guided tour of the Fes medina: Royal Palace, Mellah, tanneries, Al-Qarawiyyin University, and the artisan souks.
6Day 6Fes → Casablanca — Hassan II Mosque

Drive to Casablanca (4 h). Visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque — the largest mosque in Africa, overlooking the Atlantic. Overnight in Casablanca.
